Weight loss

This blog seemed to start out as a weight loss journal for the month I was on the Curves Weight Management Plan.
Here it is a year and a 1/2 later. I went WAY up for a while. I can say that through two 6 week Biggest Loser competitions I have lost (not counting what I gained and relost) a total of 25.8 lbs since October sometime. I wish I could say I feel wonderful but I have a long way to go.

I've figured out that 1 month is my max for the emotional/mental limit of dieting. After that it makes me a little nuts. Ok, ok...I'm always nuts but a lot more then usual then. I have a week and 1/2 to go...Wish me luck!!!

It's been a while

Well...I have lived in Idaho for more years than I lived in Arkansas. 20 years ago on the 2nd of January I started my job here in Idaho. Still didn't have a place to live. Belongings in boxes. Car that didn't want to start most mornings.

Now I have had 9 kids, no real job (Pampered Chef is too much fun to call a job), belongings still in boxes and a car that is not wanting to start reliably (should have exchanged the battery in December so I could get more prorate credit).

As someone said at church yesterday as heard on an answering machine..."Please leave a message. I'm making changes in my life and if I don't call you were one of them."

What is the first thing you would like to change about your life?

Since the last post....

I have gained and lost, gained and lost but am still within a pound or so of my low weight. I'll probably start phase 1 again at the beginning of the month. Wish me luck!!

4 weeks later....

I lost 10.2 lbs this month. Now onto the raising of the metabolism phase. Eat, eat and eat some more. I haven't been getting 1500 calories every day. I don't know how in the world I'm going to get a healthy 2000-2500 calories. Yikes!!

You do know all of this applies to you too. Keep your wrinkles, stop overthinking what others think, you're a work in progress, find a way to be OK with God and let's just enjoy sticking to each other's kitchen chairs. Because in the end there's no proving it, it is a known fact - you are worth something, alot in fact."

Day 18-8:30am

Well, could have been better. Could have been worse.

-.4 which is still down but my scale at home showed that I had gained 3 lbs from yesterday to this morning. Glad it wasn't right!

6.6 lbs gone.
